On the two year mark of the death of a loved one, I will be getting my hair cut. I have looked into "Locks of Love" and Pantene. I like both organizations, and decided on the latter. I just wanted to say thanks for posting, most PR goes to Locks. For the record, I have never had my hair over 3 inches, and the last 6 months it is driving me nuts. I have to put it in a pony tail to work on my tractor, car, well, anything. I look foward to the day I have short hair again.

    That is a fantastic sporran!

I'm glad you found a place to donate the hair to. Many years ago, when I cut my long hair off, I couldn't find a home for it... seemed like such a waste to just throw it in the garbage

It has been 17 or 18 years since I cut my mid-back length locks/ponytail, and with having gone mostly bald on top I will never see those days again. There was no organization around to donate mine to back then so it went in the heap with the rest of the barber's trimmings, wasted by todays standards.

Sinbad's donation is truly a remarkable one for such a young but obviously precociously mature man, one he should be proud of, as should parents Jamie and Star. Well done.

Scott's work on that excellent skunk sporran is great and a more than suitable gift in and of itself, and will hopefully become a family heirloom for th coming generations. I figured the kilt was one of Rocky's with the sporran chain through the front belt loops-----the lad looks grand with his new cut, sporran, kilt and proud smile on his face.

    Great work, Sinbad!
He looks great with the new 'do.

I've never worn my hair long enough to donate, but have a few relatives who do so quite often. Such a wonderful thing to do.

You have one heck of a fine young lad, there, Jamie. All my best to Sinbad for his wonderful gesture!
