Nice pictures. Thanks for posting them. I think your kilt would show even better in sunlight where the blues and greens might appear brighter. I like that kilt pin - nice touch.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

That is a superb tartan! I find myself reluctantly agreeing with Mookien--let's see some outside pics. I bet it'll just pop!

You both have a point, but I had to work with what I got. When I found the time for the pictures it had already started to rain again.

Wasn't bagging on you, sir--just enthusiatically enjoying your creation! Very nice choice of colors in that baby.

No worries. The office pictures are definitely no masterpieces, that I would present in my photography groups. I hope we finally get to make our group people shooting, so someone of the lads or lasses can make a quality picture.
But I don't think I can convince them to make a pleat shot. They might not understand the importance.

I tweaked the colours for some time, starting with the standard heraldic hues. But that was just too loud for my taste.

Replacing the white with muted white was the easiest task. The red, blue and green gave me the most grief until I was finally satisfied with the colours, the red and gold giving vibrance and blue and green adding a little "understatement".

And I find myself grudgingly concurring with LitTrog who is reluctantly agreeing with Mookien (sic). Is that sic, or what?

I'll go way out on a limb here and state that both of us think bright sunlight would draw out those magnificent colors in your kilt and make it shine, ... or "pop" as some would say.

If you ever get any such pictures, please post them for our perusal and enjoyment.

    Might it be "sigh"?

It's your fault, you all asked for it:

Yesterday morning on our balcony and the sun did shine for a change:

    Thanks. That's much better!

Brighter light makes your kilt shine. In fact it looks best where it catches the direct rays of light from the sun. Take it for a stroll and hope the folks who pass you are wearing sun glasses.

Nice pleats, by the way. I really like your bonnet, ... and your entire outfit for that matter.
