Heavy metal, punk rock, gothic, classic rock, grunge.
There are five ideas.
I will contribute several if asked to do so.

Folk-rock, Southern rock, rockabilly. . . anybody have a kilt with a poodle applique?

I seldom mix my kilts with my profession but it was specifically requested that I don my kilt.
Apparently it is more industry business-types than talent attending and more conservative dress is expected rather than flashy rockstar clothes. I am one of the lucky few.
Thank you, rabble, for your advice.
OOOOOOOoooooooo Lurrrrve that shirt, man!

Thanks, man. It's a comfy shirt and the green thermal underneath really snazzes it up.

I have to remember here not to wear my Holyrood and Scott Weathered kilts back to back. Only have two khaki shirts and they go great with both tartans. Have pulled out one of the kilts only to realize the shirts I want to go with it are in the laundry bin. End up looking at what shirts are clean and picking the kilt I will wear the next 3-4 days based on looking good with clean shirts I have. I don't like to wash shirts until I have a fullish load of 8 to 12 shirts. The kilt ironing table makes the ironing a snap - damp dry right out of the dryer - in mass production mode

Pants is only a present tense verb here. I once panted, but it's all cool now.

I love Scott weathered. I'm still trying to shake of the "don't wear another clan's tartan" mentality but it's kind of ingrained even though I am fully aware that it has VERY dubious historiocity.
