Greetings Decian, and welcome to X Marks from Delaware. You are indeed connected so, run with it.
We are truly glad you joined our kilted ranks and know you won't regret having found this forum.

Simon Fraser fought as MacShimidh, a Highland chief… wrapped and belted in a plaid over the top of his linen shirt, like his ordinary kinsmen. He put a bonnet on his head, and stuck the Fraser emblem, a sprig of yew, in it. With the battle cry, A'Chaisteal Dhunaidh and the scream of the pipes, they charged to battle. Boy, there sure is a bit of stuff to know about kilts! Before coming across this site, I never would have suspected it!
After perusing many, many old threads, I think I have a good handle on most things regarding their wear and proper appearance... enough at least to fill my mind with for the time being! Heck, I'm not even sure what questions I would need to ask, this place is THAT comprehensive!
Thanks again for the welcome from everybody, Im sure I'll come up with some good questions after awhile...while hopefully avoiding the newbie type questions, or the ones that get everybody all riled up about.
