Welcome from the mountains of northern New Mexico! I don't own a Buchanan kilt (though my son does), but I do own a flannel shirt fashioned after the Buchanan tartan. It's a bright fall-like garment. I wore it to an accidental Oktoberfest celebration, yesterday, ... but that's another story. I hope you enjoy the XMTS forum.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

James, hello and welcome from Houston, TX. I primarily wear my MacIntyre kilts, but I also wear my Buchanan Hunting to honor my father's mother's family.

Welcome to the forum, from a 3rd generation Californian, born and raised in San Jose.
I think you will find the forum's NorCal Rabble has plenty of meetups and opportunities for you to go kilted.

I can remember when San Jose was a small town, and we thought it was a big deal when it hit 100,000 in population. No matter where my assignments sent me, it was always good to come home to the Valley.

That's one of the reasons I decided to leave.

Welcome from the North East of you, in sunny Roseville. I too was raised in that valley, and spent many a summer day picking up prunes and cutting apricots way back when. If you are a facebook kind of guy there is also a Nor Cal Rabble facebook group that has a number of members that are no longer active here. Give it a look if you are looking for some more Scottish activities and get togethers. I hope you enjoy your time here!
