Oh-h-h-h - I get it; those are the "antique" degrees!

We do get them, but usually not until January and February. It can get down to the single digits, but snow is pretty rare in the southern half of the state. We will get sleet and black ice a couple of times each winter, but that's about it. And yes, howling wins up to 50 or 60 miles an hour.

67 degrees this morning, now we're down to the mid 40's. The 8 yard wool kilt was a bit warm when I put it on this morning, but I was glad to have it by the time I got home tonight.
You can keep your 80 and 90 degree temperatures as far as I'm concerned. This is my kind of weather.

Yes I miss the seasons back in West Virginia: the glorious fall with all the golden colours, the green spring raining buckets every day, the muggy humid summer with the air full of flying insects, the winter with snow and all the roads iced over and cars sliding around and rusting due to the salting... not

True. It's a sliding scale that drops down to the second somewhere around Calumet.
We're going from a high of 64 today down to a low of 27 tomorrow. Whee......
