    Anyway, I am thinking this out. It may be nice for making a waistcoat to go with a more proper Gov't. Sett kilt that I would love to own someday. If not, it could be a nice sporting kilt that I would not worry about getting to dirtied up. I will perhaps put it to the back burner and let my brain rest on it.

    The straps are attached topside which seems odd here. Cinching up tight would mangle the apron edge since the buckle ends are short. Moving them to behind would make it easy to reinforce the back of the apron, if needed, at the same time.
