Revival!!
I'm wondering if you got the Formal Cut figured out yet Bear. Formal cut saffron would be really nice.
Also, I just wanted to badger you about leather straps on the kilts. That would be great on the formal cut kilts.
Formal cut saffron with straps - oh yeah!

I have figured out the formal cuts and have made one prototype. The next formal cut is I make Phil's Maple Leaf formal cut. If I can figure out a washable buckle I'll do buckles. For my wool kilts, I'll do leather buckles, of course. (Unless someone wants velcro for either one.)
I will be showing off my latest creation at Kilts Night this Saturday. I'm quite excited about it and think it will be popular.
I will soon be opening a store in Gastown. (Very tourist oriented.) I found an inexpensive (very small) shop to rent and will be setting up this month and opening October 1st.

Very Awsome Bear that is great news man will you be posting an update to your web sight with Pics of the shop ?
Most people don't show the shop but I think it would be real cool to see that kind of thing. bring the aspect of home made and not in some cyber factory in lord only knows where.
But none the less very cool that you are doing a shop.
what weight is your woll stuff? BTW

I'll be posting pics once I get set up.
My wool kilts are mostly light and medium weight kilts, though I will be doing heavy weight kilts, soon.

My only advise is this:
1). Good heating and air conditioning,
2). Workable restroom,
3). Refrigerator,
4). A comfortable place to pass-out,
5). Caller ID on the phone,
6). Eventually Cable TV IF there is NHL.

What great news Bear! It is surely great news when a business grows and expands, especially when the owner is passionate with what he does. CONGRATULATIONS

That kilt was a 12 yard kilt and pushed the limits of my sewing machines. I don't have too much trouble with 8 yard kilts.
