Now, let's make it a "Sticky!"

Wow indeed! A great piece of work and worthy of publication!
Somewhat belated, here is another casual pic taken by another X Marker visiting from Canada.

Thanks all for the kind words. A couple people have added photos and I welcome more such additions to this thread in order to increase its value as a resource. We focused on pictures of Xmarkers because they are contemporary (not antique), show regular people (not limited to the rich, famous, or noble), and are already available elsewhere on the site (avoids copyright problems).
Some other valuable threads have been closed because people "borrowed" photos from elsewhere on the web without the required attribution or permission. Let's not make that mistake here, eh?

I'd like to echo Colin's note of gratitude for the kind words. We are certainly pleased that our efforts meet the approval of the Rabble as this work is, in no small part, the culmination of reading and contributing to a lot of conversations with all of you. I do hope this becomes a sticky because I would have found a guide of this nature most helpful when I joined xmarks.
Remember that this is a snapshot in time. Although traditions move slowly, traditional views may look somewhat different in the years ahead. I have learned that there is gradual change with time but there is always continuity.
