I'd definitely be interested in seeing this sword in person. It looks fancy.
During my time as the owner of a sword business I carried several MR products. Generally well-made and tough enough but any sword will break if there are flaws due to the forging process or type of steel used. For that reason we never encouraged anyone to actually use the swords in combat and did not warranty them or accept liability. There is a whole other industry making swords for re-enactors but even those swords, at their much higher price point, will break.
