Okay, so here is what the pipers playing for Madonna have to say about the kilts, etc....

Also, comments about the length of my kilt were annoying. It was artistic licence on Madonna’s behalf because she likes longer kilts, and I don’t think it is an affront to Scottish culture.
Well now if Madonna thinks it's ok, than it must be.

Thanks for the link Rufus, however I still think the length is silly, but that's just my opinion.

Well, you're not the only one that thinks they look silly. I think they look great on the ladies, especially Madge, but the length looks funny on the guys.

BTW, CBS in the US has agreed to air one of her Re-invention tour concerts. A great opportunity to see Rocky and Kelly's craftsmanship!

Now I guess I better find someone with a TV to watch the show. What are you doing that night Rufus?

I'm wearing my Madonna kilt and watching the show! Come to think of it, I'll have to find a friend that gets CBS, or I'll just be watching a static blob move on a static stage, listening to white noise.

Rufus, those of us with a lot of MAckenzie blood running throught their veins really wish you would stop refering to it as the Madonna tartan....

Just kidding Rufus, you can call it what ever you want. I'm just mad that Madonna got a Dress Mackenzie before I did, and then made a piper wear an ankle length sk**t! :x

I'll let her know you're cheesed off next time we chat.

On the plus side, the female worker at Banana Republic in Salt Lake said that the Mackenzie Dress was the "nicest tartan she'd seen" as she was examining the pleating (AKA feeling for underwear!)

She's a Highland dancer, so she was impressed that I'd just wear the kilt for everyday wear.
