A warm Scottish welcome from middle England. All credit to you for committing to daily wear before you have even got it. You won't regret it.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

Pictures were requested, and I am happy to oblige now that my third single most expensive possession (second to my car and my Japanese bow) has now arrived, though I beg pardon at this time for the lack of suitable hose, shoes, belt or sporran - all things yet to come.
Elder dog taking an interest in the fine sheepy scent of the new wool...

Braving the prickers and dog "land mines" in the backyard in order to get better lighting, wishing I'd at least put some sandals on...

Looking good! It looks like it fits well, and once you get accessorized I`m sure you`ll look great.

It does fit well, though I am losing weight, and I foolishly ignored my wife's suggestion to report my measurements a full inch smaller than the ones she took, so I am already wearing it one notch tighter than the standard fit; I hope I won't outgrow it in the wrong direction too quickly...

An extra pint or two per day should do the trick.

Welcome from another Californian hoping to order a kilt soon. Would like to purchase some Maxwell Hunting or Ancient Hunting tartan.

I was looking into a couple of sites selling the Maxwell Hunting tartan. Unfortunately, it's a special run, and the minimum order will set me back between $850 and $1400 depending on the mill. I won't be ready to place an order until after my daughter's wedding in August, but if there are any Maxwell's out there thinking about a hunting kilt, please let me know if you'd like to place a joint order.
