As a non-beer-drinker, it might not be the best venue for me. (yeah, I know... It's anathema to wear a kilt and not drink beer but there it is. .. I am that guy.) David
I am that guy, as well. Never drank. It's why I didn't want to spend money to get in, but as a designated driver, sure.
In re PM, not on any SMHG committees, but did volunteer on grounds this year. Used to do the lighting for the tattoo before they tore down the horse arena.

Glad you joined us. Games were great this year.

It's the day of the Monday Night event! I will be there in my Buchanan Modern kilt, but probably not evening wear. It's a bar atmosphere, after all. I hope to see some other kilted rabble there!

It was just @Wareyin and myself at Monday Night Brewing but we had a great time, got to taste some really good beer (Drafty Kilt...what could be better?) and were treated well by the owners who even took a picture of us. Hopefully others will be able to make it out next time.

Aye, bilgee2, it was a fun evening! It was a pleasure to make your acquaintance. It was only a shame that we were the only kilted people there. I hope we can get a larger gathering at another meet up.

Well, it's been a couple of weeks. Does anyone have any interest in planning another outing? I realize that December is usually quite busy, but I'd try to find some time for a kilted night out somewhere.

I am interested. I am in town until Thursday this week and probably only Thursday next week.

This week would be extremely short notice for people, I think. I have some stuff to do tonight (Wed), but could meet at a Taco Mac on Thurs.

There was interest from several non-drinkers last time, but it was a beer-centric event. What could we plan, even for January if Dec is too hectic, that would be more welcoming?

I'm in Braselton, NE of Atlanta, but would love to meet some of you fine kilted locals! I'll be able to follow this thread now that I have commented. My schedule is interesting, but if I'm home, I'm in! Leave next Tuesday, unless anyone wants to meet for drinks at the airport on Wednesday , then I'll be back in January.
