I have a USMC tartan Hillwalker kilt from Alexis and love it. The fit is outstanding, and the workmanship is of the finest caliber. I highly recommend her kilts. I bit of a side note and possibly an idea of the quality of the Alexis Malcolm kilts, when I ordered my kilt she was very busy making kilts for the Coast Guard pipe band. She is also wonderful to work with.

I have an 8 yarder from Alexis, and it's the best money I've every spent...first class in every way.

I don't own one, but did have an interchange with them right after they'd been clobbered with a hurricane. I didn't realize where they were located. Despite the messy situation they were very polite and responsive.

Never heard a bad word about them.

Alexis Malcolm made my kilt. I ordered it in the SeaBee Tartan, and its beautiful. She was a pleasure to work with and answered all the questions I had for her. The best thing was the price. Being a custom weave and all, it only cost $600.00. Not too bad considering most other places wanted $700.00-$800.00 for the same thing.
