That is a Charcoal Grey tweed HRH is wearing here not blue. Having said that charcoal works wonderfully for most situations. If you look at the 1 kilt 10 looks thread you will see I used my Charcoal tweed for 3 of the looks, more than any other jacket I had at the time.

Okay, that particular picture comes up blue on my screen but I can see elsewhere that it is indeed charcoal grey, which was my choice too. I wear it with my Scott Red kilt.
As your kilt appears to be in ancient colours I would match it with a darker tweed jacket. The Ocean colour you show would look fantastic. One observation is that the gentlemen wearing brown jackets in the pictures have toned them with kilts in weathered shades, where of course green becomes brown. I have a tweed jacket from Kilts4you which is a dark green [I think it's Marton Mills' Loden Crag) with a faint black check. It's actually very good quality and only costs £189, much cheaper than some.

Great photos and not a white sock in sight, bliss. I personally like your jacket, but I'm totally biased as blue is my favourite colour. Looks like you had a great day, thanks for posting the pics.
