All tartans this year are wool. In previous years there has been a mix.

First kilt completed! This one is done as a box pleat by Harlan H, out of the Lunar tartan.

..... The Wizard of BC sporting the traditional tartan tights, and a tour of the Inca Dinca Do fibre mill (https://incadincado.wordpress.com/) in Saanich. The tights were originally owned by Barb T, and have been worn by different people over the years of Kilt Kamps.

Sydnie, I know, right? When we were at Kilt Kamp the farthest we got to travel was to see Steve's rolls of tartan in the basement.
- btw.... which tartan is Colloden?

The tartan on the left is the Culloden.
KiltedKnome organized a field trip for those who were interested. Being a spinner and weaver, she knows about these things. And we figured two hours away from "kilting" might be a good break, and most people have never seen a real fibre mill. Perhaps it will become a standard field trip for Kilt Kamps on the West Coast!
