Copper is not for everybody, but I just love it.
That's a lovely sporran Colin. I saw the copper option on their page, but it was sold out. I didn't wanna wait to order since I jumped the gun and sold my old Rob Roy style sporran before ordering this new one. I just couldn't justify the cost of this one while owning a sporran already.

Thank you, I wish Clan Art was more creative and was able to use more materials, but I am sure casting bronze or brass would be costly in todays world, but still I think they would sell out rather quickly. I was just tired of the same old pewter/polish pewter look and wanted something different, and especially having Donnie agree to do it, we worked together on the design and using beaver fur is something that I really wanted. Originally I was going to use Raccoon, but it was more of the grey look, I wanted brown, mink was too expensive, but beaver fit the bill. Will be wearing it for the first time in a few weeks, Cheers, Collin

Copper would not be my first choice, however I admit that looks good for the following reasons:

    1. The darkened background and general weathered look of the cantle.
    2. The beaver fur is a perfect compliment to the copper colour.

Its good to know that my opinions/prejudices can be changed, nice sporran Collin.

Thank you. I just had to do something different and wear a bright red Balmoral is just not my style, wanted something different but more "original" thus when I say the copper really liked it, not a shinny cooking pan type copper but rather satin finish with black highlights. So just liked it, and as stated mink first choice, but more than what I wanted to spend, beaver worked out great. Thank you for you compliment.
