    Sourcing material for a great kilt is easy enough. The hard part will be in finding an appropriate (time inspired?) shirt, vest, jacket, &c. But it would be unique and different. And as OC Richard mentioned, it would be a good way to buy into the present "Outlander" popularity. There can't be too many pipers for hire doing that.
