Awesome stuff! And I love the new challenge! It's been a while since I've seen a good quality "Hamish Mark II."
For some of our newer members who may be confused by this, please consult the following reference: http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f...end-era-24731/
Good luck! :-)

Doing the Hamish
Hope this will do?

The next challenge is "kilted beside a ruin". I'll leave it open to your imagination as to what classifies as a ruin but In terms of buildings, apologies to the Canadians as, when I was last there, our guide was enthusiastic about anything approaching 100 years old, which of course is relatively recent in UK terms. So I don't imagine there are many ruined buildings to choose from; but it doesn't have to be a building.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

Challenge Met!
Well done, tpa!
That is one of the best poses of the Hamish, I've seen in a very long time! Perhaps the best.
And amidst a field of dandelions!
Love the castle in the background.

SWMBO says I am the ruin, would that count?

Thanks Mael, was not sure I could do it in view of recent hernia op., but all was well. Timing was critical as I couldn't hold it for the 10 secs duration of the time delay on the camera!

Can you stand beside yourself?
I think it needs to be inanimate or at least dead and I trust that neither is the case.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

Been 7 days now, supposing I say: "kilted beside a ruin or wreck". Does that help?
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

Has no one come across a scrap yard or wrecked car by the side of the road? Ship wrecks are a little rarer. Or is no one wearing their kilt out and about at present.

There are many old forgotten parts cars and trucks out behind my work, unfortunately we have a strict dress code on property so I can't wear the kilt, other sites won't be available to me till it warms up a bit and we head up north for weekend getaways. I will think outside the box if I can.... Maybe I can noodle up something

That's been my issue lately. Not wearing my kilt -- just really super-busy and no chance to get dressed up and go someplace. ;-) Hoping that will change soon though.
