Sorry old chap, in my view, what you are doing is just not right.Wear your US Marine colours with the kilt and I will stand four square with you.
I understand. Thanks Jock.

In Scotland, because that is what this thread is about.
Gotcha. Thanks Thistledown!

Do you happen to know what kind of wood yours is made from? And do you know what kind of horn that topper is made from? That's a nice thistle detail.
Yes Hazel for the shaft and yes rams horn for the top. The cromach was a 21st birthday present to me from a Stalker on the estate. Actually, exactly 49 years ago today.

Jock, does that mean today's your birthday? If so, very many happy returns to you.

Kyle stated
"I am a good and honest man; respectful of tradition, sensitive to cutlural differences, and honorable-quite a dying breed for men of my age (was born in 1981) in my opinion. "
Way off topic, BUT
Kyle,
I believe you are exactly what you say you are. I also believe there is a whole generation of men your age and younger who are as well. I think you'll agree if you consider it for a moment.

Not often; maybe 20 years ago. These days, we Texans mostly just toss our hats on the dash...oops, quoted the wrong one. Meant to quote the note that suggested the wire hat rack was common in Texas.
