I was fortunate that the games moved to Spirit of St Louis airport rather than being in Forest park. This year the games held the 2015 Masters World Championship so they needed quite a bit of land for all the games and athletes. There were 2 large caber fields, at least 5 rock and hammer throw areas and I think about 8 areas for sheaf and weight toss. Quite a spectacle of great talent and we enjoyed it. Some world records fell and many a caber was tossed. Jennifer took the time to speak to people in the Scott and Wallace tents because she has kin connections in those clans. Though I didn't meet or talk to any Xmark people I'm sure they were there. My climbing partner made the trip with his boys and sported his Utilikit for the day. One more convert to kilt wearing. I met a gentleman who made walking sticks and purchased a quite nice on. I refered him to XMarks and the hobbyist part of the forum. Of course every morning starts out good with a dram of Laphroaig from their tent. We also migrated to the tent that had more of the acoustic groups playing Scottish and Irish tunes. A great day was had indeed.

I know Friday night at the pub can be an event but I want everyone to get out and enjoy the fall weather at a fest or games and get a photo with a band member.
I'm not sure if will qualify since there aren't any instruments in the photo but here's one of me with the girls from The Screaming Orphans taken after their set at the Seacoast Irish Festival in Dover, New Hampshire on Saturday afternoon:

If Brewerpaul approves my entry, the next challenge is: Kilted in a "public safety" setting (something to do with police, fire or emergency medical services.)

I looked up the band on the internet and seeing as you got the whole group around you Ill bend my challenge and accept. It is one thing to have a band member and instrument with you but the whole lovely group of ladies from this band..... Brilliant...... On to the next challenge.

So I'm on the road, this time in Twin Falls Idaho. I have finished my route for the day and before returning to my motel I decide to visit Old down town Twin Falls. I enjoy these old parts of these small cities, full of small shops and restaurants. I come around the corner to find several firefighters gathered in front of a small shop. No lights or sirens, just a fire truck and a few firefighters, just standing around. I asked as to the nature of the emergency and I'm told a broken water line. Not much need for fire fighters, but I guess someone called them so they came. Being a little shy I chose to ask a passer by to shoot a couple pics and not distract these gentlemen from their non emergency.

My challenge Kilted at a Carnival, fair, or festival

I was at the Renessance Faire this past weekend. The girl is a random lady that came up to me because she loves a guy in a kilt and loved the shirt. Next challenge "enjoying a campfire while kilted"

Reason: picture re-size and a longer description

Sorted. See this link, it applies equally to images as well as to avatars.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

It is not camping season over here and it seems like it isn't camping season anywhere else either. Looks like @cookingkilted you need to post a new challenge whether or not you can meet your own challenge.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

Kilt & Camping
No campfire (it was over 30deg and Fire restrictions) but I knew I had a picture somewhere of an ex in a kilt when we went camping. It was one of my first attempts at making a casual kilt before I found Xmarks

Next challenge.....mmmm...... At A Winery (not just drinking wine)

@Lady Grey, the rules state that the picture must be taken since the challenge was issued and this doesn't really sound as if this was. Whether the absence of a campfire is acceptable that is up to @cookingkilted. However in the absence of anything else ....... over to you CDNSushi.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

Here y'all go.

This was in Chama, New Mexico... sometime in October... We went to enjoy the fall colors. And the Cumbres & Toltec railroad. Next challenge?? Kilted with a mythic creature!
