Looking forward to all this pics. I do intend to put up a pictorial of Llew1 and now Llew 2 on xmarks. Just need a bit of space n time to do it ... it been and still is a wee bit hectic with gigs n rehearsals at the moment.

Ok as the scarf is on it's way to my favorite city on the west coast(and I have an hour break) it's time to post the picks from the upper midwest.

First Gail the postmaster who was as excited as I when Llew arrived in Cable

Then a formal welcome

So off to the pub we went for a Northwoods welcome

we stopped to keep the baby king Haakonsen warm

Where we met the northwoods preschool kids playing with the fall leaves

My son had to have his turn with the scarf

A quick stop at the library

And our last two stops,the Cable Cafe for lunch and the Chamber to say good buy

Cable was happy to host Llew for the time he was here and we now have a map up at the cafe to follow his progress back home to wales. Thank you Derek we had a great time

The cafe is where we all catch up on what is going on in town,and when I foun out I was going to be a host I asked everyone to help plan a route through town.We have 800 people who live in town and almost all had an opinion as to what to do,They left notes.I just wish I would have had more time to show ya'll what went on that day,I'll see if they'll Email the pics they took to me so I can post them.Cable had a great time with this.I'm serious the preschool(11 kids & 3 teachers) took a walk to find us so we could talk about our friends in other places,the other parents took picks too.As far as the map it was Sue ( the one with her face covered) who put up the map and lurked through the thread to plot the course,red for the first scarf and blue for this one.We loved Llew here and everyone in town who saw him is still picking on thoes who did not. This was something else to be a part of, who knew? It made me remember why I like it here.I hope everyone has as good of a time as I did with this,it was a hell of a thing.
