We had a lovely time last night at the Meet'n'Greet and the supper at Swan's. Photos will be posted......I have to wait for Steve/The Wizard since I don't know how to do this. There are even action shots -- dancing was on the menu at Swan's!

Kilt Night
We had a great time. Good to meet CDN Sushi and his wife, and catch up with friends. Let's try this more often....even if we have to schedule without distinguished international participants.

I agree -- it was great fun. The day after Swan's we went with CDNSushi and Bonnie to The Fernwood Inn, and enjoyed another good meal and this time, music from The Sweet Lowdown -- blues and folk music.
By the way, just so everyone knows.....CDNSushi left some really wonderful whiskey here with us in Victoria. Much to KiltedWolfman's dismay, I removed it from the kilt shop and brought it home.......

Looks like all had a great night. Always pleasant to catch up with like minded people.
I find it amazing you can't get fried battered fish and a good serve of chips in Japan, perhaps Jim can start a trend over there and start a national chain of fish and chip shops

Hmmm yes, I agree. Wise move, Bobbie. Especially because that means I just may get a sampler in May . Sushi tried to open the bottle during dinner in Langley a few nights earlier but the restaurant's heavy hand and commanding tone was
NO

He could call them Canadian Sushi Shops, or something.
Try saying that again and again and again.
