So weird...knowing all I know about SportKilts I'm still thinking about getting a third...at least to try out the new belt loops, custom length, and short stitching.

Ron, spend the extra and get a Poly Viscose kilt from Bear or Rocky. They both have belt loops, and will be something you will likley be proud to wear. The Poly viscose is great for hiking and hot days. Check out the Canadian tartans for something a bit lighter than the clan tartans. The perfect summer kilt.

    I know, I know...

Bear's wait is way beyond my jones tolerance...the penalty of craftsmanship...maybe I could order it and forget it like the tank I'm waiting on from Kathy's Kilts...waiting on the mill, not her for Macdonald of Kingsburgh the core tartan of my family's origin on the Trotternish Peninsula of Skye.

I've bought kilt hose through Rocky, and have often reviewed the tartans offered...and come VERY close to ordering. Difficulty so far has been to find a tartan I want in his selection. Gotta be difficult to please everyone.

Other thing is living out here in the boonies of the canyonlands my kilts are either for dust, dirt, sand, sticky things from plants or fancy full blown traditional tanks.

    Getting there though...

    Ron,

I'm in the same boat for my bear kilt. I ordered a SWK Heavy and a Bear kilt last week. I then promptly wandered down to the UK headquarters and picked up a new original in tan to solve the jonesing issue, for a while at least. I think I'm going to have to be done for a while.
