Hey, speaking of roackabilly: I've had this idea for a two-tone kilt with denim (or black?) as the primary fabric, and leopard print inside the pleats. How do you think your daughter would feel about that one? ;) You could be the first!

Where exactly IS this "Tenerife"? I can't say I've ever heard of it? Is it a micro-nation?
Cheers,

Tenerife is one of the Canary Islands. They are part of Spain but float off the north western coast of Africa.

There are a bunch of countries in the world with similar flags, almost identical. Ecuador, Colombia, and Venezuela for example. They all have the same flag. The only difference is the emblems. Honduras, Guatemala, and Nicaragua have the same case. What about Ireland and Italy? Very similar.
What Im trying to say is that it doesnt really matter. You pay tribute to your flag and you take it as your own cus it represents you. That other similar flag doesnt.

danger, will robinson, danger.
somewhere else there was another thread that discussed young women and that they're the biggest threat to kilt wearing: "fashion police". I made her a Marshall's badge several years ago, big mistake, she acts like it was a real title.
On the fun side, we have our own kilt nights when there are good concerts at the bars.
