Welcome from Scotland, BronzeWhaler82. Personally I've never worn a kilt in London though I've been there often enough (you will find plenty of photos of London's Routemaster buses on my website). I believe wearing a kilt in central London would probably be no big deal as it is a very cosmopolitan city and I've usually seen one or two kilted gents around Oxford Street, Regent Street, Soho, Piccadilly areas while I've been in London. Maybe not a good idea to wear one in Hackney or Brixton on a Friday or Saturday night though.
