Kilt Bomb Explosion Day
They're here!!!
Four new USA Kilts Casuals. Just when I was wondering what to wear to work this week - the first week of my second year kilted full time.
I like the Ramsay's deep blue and the green and red of the Prince of Wales best...but the other two, Douglas modern and Scottish National are great too.
So fiddling with the Gizmo to steam out the shipping wrinkles and mounting the kilt pins for these new kilts.
Life is good.
Jeez, this makes 3 USA Kilt Semi Trads and 8 Casuals with two special order tartan casuals on order.
Perfect timing for the hot humid monsoon weather around here.
Thanks Rocky and Kelly.
May be a while for pics since I'm back to work tomorrow.

I'm looking forward to getting a semi-trad from USAK.
Rocky, do you happen stock the ancient or weathered Irvine tartans in PV?

James....
No, we don't have any Irvine tartans... there are only about 75 PV tartans readily made. Now, if you wanted to order 130 Meters of the Irvine tartan at $10 a meter (plus shipping from the UK) I can gladly make one for you ;) . hahahaha
Sorry to disapoint.

Congrats on the new kilts.
BTW, Does this mean that the waiting time is a few weeks shorter?

Perhaps it was not meant to be. I guess I'll have to save for a tank for an Irvine tartan kilt There are still plenty PV tartans I wouldn't mind adding to my wardrobe . . .

Hey Breeze,
Wait seemed about right...ordered on 6/28 - a Wednesday, and they arrived at my post office on 8/7 a Monday. That's five weeks and change for four kilts...seems quite fair to me for custom sized kilts.
I only jonesed a little, but more because I knew they were coming - rather than because they weren't here yet....if that subtle distinction makes sense.
Still have two more on the special fabric order deal, a Gordon Red and a Cladish...but that's a special deal and I know there's gonna be a wait for them.
