Still waiting on the MacEwen (Should be here in about two weeks!) and I finished the MacFarlane about a week ago.

I wasting away in Jonestown for my Argyle Tweed Jacket I won on Ebay last week. I thought it might be here today. He shipped in Priority USPS on Saturday from Wisconsin to New Mexico. So, I figured today may be a bit optimistic. I'm sure it will be here tomorrow though. I'm also waiting for a pair of grey kilt hose from Hamilton Dry Goods (thanks for the tip Cavscout!) And last, but certainly not least, I'm waiting on my "made in Ireland" Irish Tweed cap. Whew, I may die yet. hehe.

Five weeks and counting. The wool should be woven soon......

I get up from the sitting on the curb on the corner of Jones St. and Kilt Ave. I wave goodbye to all the nice fellows who have been sitting next me helping me pass the the time. I walk away with my head held high and a spring in my step. But suddenly I stop and turn. Those good fellows wave again and I regard them with a long stare. I turn about and continue on my way. I have my kilt pin, I have my sporran, I even have my beautiful 5 yard knife pleated 16 oz. kilt. But some how, some way...I just know I'm destined to return to sit on the curb at the corner of Jones St. and Kilt. Ave.

Rather than starting a new thread, I though we could continue this one....
What are you jonesing for right now? or what kilts (or other purchases) do you see yourself making in the near future?
I'm in the process of placing an order with scottishkilts.net/tartanweb.org for an 8 yrd IoS 16oz. I would also like to eventually get kilts made in the Australia Tartan, Ulster Tartan (ancient), Isle of Man (or perhaps the Hunting version), Wales, Pride of New Zealand, and Maple Leaf Tartans. *sigh* Perhaps in 10 years I'll have all of these...probably more like 20! Oh and also a nice matching tweed kilt, vest and jacket from Matt. I guess I should start playing the lotto...
Cheers!

Current Jonesing list
Wow, until I thought about it, I didn't realize that I am waiting for so many things.
My current list includes: (In no special order)
1) a custom fur sporran, being made on the East Coast.
2) a custom leather sporran, being made in the West, which should be in the mail
3) some Oconee leather work, ordered in January, should be soon
4) a Leatherneck box, ordered in late September
5) some replacement USMC "Clan" badges
6) a "secret" trade in progress
One thing - it makes me listen for the mail truck everyday!!!
