Please tell us more about these! I want universal non-Scottish tartans!

Hey Jim! I have some Mockers. After wearing my first one I liked it so much I went and bought more. Them Mocker pockets are deep. If you have any rather small friends, don't put them in there. Ya may not see 'em again for quite some time!!!
Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

 See, we even let the English on here! (Well, Carlisle is really part of Scotland, as is Berwick, whatever that "map" says.)

As for American tartans, there is one that a guy is selling yardage off ebay. He had 100 yards, of which 6 are on their way to me!

Right now, possingk is bidding on them. As we try not to bid against each other on ebay, either "buy now" or wait until the next round (this is at least round 3, mine was the last round).

That American tartan was designed in 1975 (the year I was born) for the 1776 Bicentennial celebrations (the year my wife was born). The colors and stripes are representative of the US flag.

Personally, I prefer to include all of North and South America (and the islands) as Americans. Why? Aren't Canadians and Mexicans also Americans?

    Hello Jim!

    Jim,
Hello and welcome from Canton, OH., a drinking town with a football problem!
I think you will find your time at X-Marks to be quite enlightening, a wealth of knowledge here, and fun as well!

Hey, a lot of us in the States are mutts. That just means we're our own melting pot. My own personal "heritage recipe" is: a handful of English, a handful of German, a healthy splash of Scottish and Irish, and maybe a small pinch of Welsh and French (and who knows what else may have snuck in).

    Welcome aboard!!
