Thanks for the pics Phil! And da$#, you are one strapping young buck aren't you? That pic should make the men of XMarks calendar!
And Colin, you should know me better than that by now, although some vendors do try to promote kilts not much better than a towel for everyday wear.

I do wonder how long before someone asks if they are ok for casual wear
I knew it would only be a matter of time before I'd see an Instakilt being worn in the shopping mall. Ann and I were sitting in Costa Coffee's outdoor courtyard at Gretna Gateway enjoying lunch in the sunshine and watching the world go by, me wearing my denim Union Kilt, and lo and behold this young guy wearing an instakilt, complete with the sporran printed on the front and a matching jimmy hat strolled past quite nonchalantly, complete with the printed sporran on the front. I, being something of a kilt buff, was probably the only person interested enough to turn his head for a better look.

Please tell me you were at a water park or the shore
Well Gretna is on the coast, yes, but the shopping mall where we saw him is about a mile inland.

Beat me to it!
those things are pretty funny, and I just wish I'd come up with the idea so I could be making a mint on 'em.

Uhmmm, I did not see a single "instakilt" in ANY of the photos....just a lot of plaid insta SKIRTS since everyone had them well below their knees.
