Welcome from the MidWest! It is nice to see the Irish National Tartan; that's one of my possibles for my first kilt. It's also nice to see someone else sporting ink!

Not to be a nag. BUT, as Rocky (USAK owner) would point out, that's actually "Ireland's National" tartan... not "Irish National" tartan. They are two different monsters.

And yes, ink 'o plenty. Though there are plenty of others on the board with tattoos...

Honest mistake; they are very similar, but different enough that I prefer the Ireland's National over the Irish National. Still both great tartans. I may get a SWK standard Irish National for winter.

well the casual I am wearing dosen't fit a wider belt than that. And yes shortly after that picture was taken I pulled it up a litle higher. Keep in mind I have really short legs and a long torso so it might look a little lower.
    Thanks

When the belt loops are too small...no problem...you don't have to use them. Many don't use the loops and some kilts don't even have them.

There's no need to hike it up a lot...1 inch will do. About the legs/torso...a wider belt will also help solving this minor optical "problem"...the wider belt will make the kilt look less long. Also...when you see more legs (knee)...your legs will look longer...that's a nice bonus.

I was not saying you look bad...not at all...you guys look great!
