I haven't seen any casual kilts in Sydney, though, except once during the Rugby World Cup a number of years ago on a (probably Irish) tourist. Maybe I'm just not frequenting the right parts of town or something...

Wait! There are RULES to wearing a kilt? I'm in trouble!

G'day Wade and welcome from SE Queensland. I like Graham's word on us being pioneers and by the Gods it feels like it sometimes.
I've just recieved my first utility/casual kilt (from RKilts in Canada) and have hardly been out of it in the last three or so weeks. Wear it loud and proud I say Wade.
Good to see some Sydneyites around here. I hope you stick around.

Heh. Other than "Be Yourself!" I don't think there really are, either, but I was referring to the forum rules.
Wade.

They're a little out of my price range at the moment, but I'll bookmark them anyway.

I wish there were more.
At the moment, I hope to wear my first kilt on Australia Day in the city with a bunch of photographer friends. Should be an interesting and, above all, comfortable day.
Wade.

Welcome from sunny Florida! Must have missed this earlier with the holidays. And if cost is a major factor, check out Stilwater Kilts. Great prices, good quality, and speedy delivery.
The kilt concealed a blaster strapped to his thigh. Lazarus Long
