I've seen the old B Movie "The Deadly Mantis" far, far too many times...I can hear the narrator's (Paul Frees) voice at the start of the movie talking about the Pine Tree Line, The Mid Canada Line, and the all important DEW Line in my head.

I won't even mention that I remember all Group Captain Hawkin's lines...

All I have to say about the recent posts on this thread is that we have the worlds longest undefended border, and that is something that as a Canadian I am proud of, and I am sure that there are a lot of American's proud of that fact as well.

All in all, even though us Yanks seem to like to razz you Canucks to pieces, Strange Brew, and Canadian Bacon come to mind along with a number of other great flicks, we do kinda like ya.

Seriously though, you guys are great neighbors. Some of my best friends live up there.
