[QUOTE=ckelly327;328657To me, naming something kudzo would be akin to someone in Georgia naming a business after Spanish Moss.[/QUOTE]
OK, Kudzu is out-> ALREADY misspelled (I'd have to register too many variations of the name).
Hesitations on MacWage (negative connotations of "poor man's kilts", circa Dreadbelly), darned Ray Crok and his evil monolithic beast and destroyer of all things "Mac" including the original MacDonald brothers!
I LOVED it back when it sued Clan Donald over the name in western Scotland. (was resolved, eventually)
What About:
Covenanter
Covenant
(from religious, and biological, heritage)
Saltire Kilts (maybe too many spelling variations)
A tad more "whimsy"
Rattlesnake Kilts (after my favorite flag)
Pyrate Kilts
Privateer Kilts
Bones Kilts
Skunk Kilts
Blackbeard Kilts
18th Century Kilts
Bat Kilts (possible legal issues with Warner Bros./DC)
OR:
Fenix Kilts (on old spelling of pheonix, my favorite personal symbol)
(would need to register-> fenix, phenix, pheonix, and phoenix variations)
Wages Kilt and Kit seems pretty good too.
(Father's business is Wages Design, uncle has Wages Film, brother has Wages Video, and cousin has another Wages variation)
None have has any negative connotations over the years.

P.S. Good luck with the business. We'll be looking for those logos at the top of the page soon.

Alpha Kilt Co.
Omega Kilt Co.
Alpha Omega Kilt Co.
MacWage Kilt Co.
MacWage Inc. (you'd have to legally incorporate for that one)

Dreadbelly's Kilts and Kit (or anything similar) is reserved already for someone.
I might do Caledon Kilt and Kit.
I like the sound of that one!!!!!

I like anyhting with "Co." on the end. I shop at a place called "Colony Clothing Co.", and I was attracted to it because of the name first, and the products and services later.

Caledon is a suburb of Toronto. Might be confusing?
