Jobs
I am a divorce lawyer in England. Unfortunately, too lazy and too old to try and qualify in Scotland so that I could live and work there. Hope to retire there eventually.

I make life safety and rescue equipment. IN the summer I work in a bicycle shop.
I've been car free 18+ years. Don't worry Dread, the work will come car or no.

Started out as a Motor Trimmer(Auto Upholsterer to some), moved into teaching the same in Technical Colleges and taught that for 13 years, now I'm teaching in Information Technology(8 years now). I work in a highly multicultural location(but I grew up there myself), teaching Middle Eastern, Asian, Eastern European, Pacific Islander etc students. Dealing with the languages gets interesting sometimes!

I do have one shot of me at work, here it is:

We really are not supposed to take pictures at work, but as there is no sensitive info in this one I guess it's ok. I am wearing almost the same thing today, the only difference is I have my green hose on and my new Harris Tweed argyle, Oh and a brown casual belt.

I'm a civil engineer by training and education, but have had to transition into the owner of my civil engineering, landscape architecture, land planning, land surveying firm. No pictures, though. Respect for the lens.

I can't get a picture of me doing my job - cameras are strictly verboten within any of our data centers.
Here's a picture of my home office, though:

TOO FREAKIN' COOL! I love the graphics!
I used to be in search and rescue. I've had 1 too many kids die in my arms. Before you ask, I've only had 1 die in my arms. It was enough!

In another time, in another life, I worked as a chef. I worked in nice places, ski resorts, lodges, really nice high end establishments. I was young, and stupid, and made more money than I knew what to do with, and I blew it all on fast motorcycles and hard drink.
I did entertain the idea of becoming a racer for a while... Either motocross or road racing on a cycle. I had the perfect body it for... Short and squat, suitable for hunching over the gas tank of some insanely fast cafe racer.
Now, I aspire to a quiet peaceful life.
