    It can't be Nessie as he is geographically limited to a certain part of Scotland.

    Surely you have one or two equivalent monsters in the US?

    Ah, here's a picture of Nessie (or her cousin) in a (temporary) lake in Death Valley California following a huge downpour... neither her visit nor the lake lasted very long!
