good point about about keeping the kilt clean, i do have a tendency to get dirty at SASS matches. PV seems to be the way to go, instead of wool. now if i could only find a Swedish tartan in PV.

I've ordered a 4 yard box pleat from Matt (but it will be July before I have it) but I'm still interested in something I feel I can get sweaty in, and I think that might mean a Rocky teflon poly viscose.
