Thanks for an excellent tour. The gardens are lovely and it was good that you managed to fit in a few kilt shots. Though I was surprised they allowed that tower crane which appears to be constructing a high rise building which is going to encroach and overbear very close to such a fine castle.

    McMurdo,

A great array of pictures. I haven't been to Casa Loma in years, not since I was a lad, but I remember much of it. Your pictures bring it all back to mind.

As for the kilt shots, I'm not cool enough to pull off crimson hose with my ML! I'm bogged down in drab colors, but you wear it well, my friend.

    Well done!

They are actually doing restoration work on the Castle. I certainly hope they are careful with it.

We went to Casa Loma a few years ago and really enjoyed it. There is a pencil etching framed on the wall in our house of the castle and surounds. Nice memories.

The hose are actually maroon not crimson, I find the maroon hose go great with the Maple Leaf, so well in fact that I have two pair.

    McMurdo,

Great pictures. It's been 27 years since my family visited Casa Loma,
and your pictures still brought back memories. If you guys think the castle looks impressive, imagine experiencing it from a 6-year-old's perspective.
