The closest I can come to "In Kilts, Fellowship" is this...
Per Feileadh-Beag, Sodalitas
...and I'm sure someone with much more latin than I will disagree...

I'm liking this thread...
**thinking on a plant badge**
I have in mind one of the plants that was used early on to make the dyes that colord the thread in those first plaids and arisaids.

I most definitely agree. I'm glad to be a part of the rabble.
I don't mean to be the stick-in-the-mud. But, if we were seriously to adopt a plant badge: I do not think barley would be "fair." It's very apparent as to why this is picked, and there are more than just a couple of us who have nothing to do with "barley" especially in the sense it's intended. I think the plant would need to be something more universal. That is, if the idea were to indeed be pursued.
I would have to agree with this. For the same reason, hops would have to be ruled out. Either would be great if we were a beer appreciation club (not that many here don't appreciate beer ).
Since we're a kilting group, something like heather or the thistle might be appropriate. But that may also be too Scottish, and we are an international group.
We're fools whether we dance or not, so we might as well dance. - Japanese Proverb

Okay, then here is my suggestion the dandelion! And before you laugh to much read the Wikipedia description.

Illigitimum Non Carborundum! or Don't let the b_sta_rds wear you down!
Yeah, but it's over-used, and doesn't really have anything to do with the wearing of kilts.

Good points, but I still like it. How about this, then in Latin of course, "Nothing at ALL!

Has what to do with the forum, or the wearing of kilts?
Are you suggesting that the proud members of Clan X "reproduce asexually"?
"Maybe it's that we "have become established in the Americas, Australia and New Zealand as weeds."
