At four, but one's going to disappear soon...

Three tanks (Lennox district - first one that fit, MacKenzie Modern, Armstrong Modern)
One UK (the one that's disappearing - literally - disintegrating in front of my eyes)

When the UK finally dies, I'll probably order a FK... Want something that actually looks more like a proper kilt...

soon to be twelve and then I STOP.
It would take a lot of willpower, and maybe even need therapy, to stop acquiring kilts.

This is a topic which comes up regularly but its always interesting to read an update on how x-markers collections are progressing. Currently I have 18, with another 2 on order.

From looking at all these posts, I am content to know that the artform of the kilt will not vanish. Half of us have closets that are small museums~!

I started collecting kilts when I was 19 and now I am 21. I have a headstart and will probably not be able to fight this addiction. >_>

    My 7 kilts :

Sport Kilt Black Watch (from before they offered belt closures, lol.)
Scottish import from Ebay, Napier Modern
Mackenzie What Price Glory WWI era kilt. My best investment ever.
    Phillabeg from Celtic Croft
phillabeg from fabric from an antique store
    Campbell Argyll Weathered great kilt
    a fashion tartan great kilt

Well Roan, you are off to a good start - of which I am envious! Between the ages of 14 and 62 I never had more than one kilt at a time so, in the last nine years I have acquired 80 kilts. Just think how many that could have been had I started as you have done, at the age of 19, instead of waiting until I was 62!!

    Maintain the enthusiasm, my friend.
