It's a highland cravat.
They're just more comfortable.
And they look so fancy!

The entire outfit looks wonderful, I really do wish you and Diane all the best. As for the hose, good eye, they look brilliant and as an added bonus they help tie the sporran into the entire look of the outfit. I also really like the cravat as it gives some colour and they just look smashing.

Cool! Both of my cousins lived in Idaho for about five years (one was a dancer with the Boise Ballet, the other was there for school), it's abeautiful state!
