    Thanks again everyone!

    sorcererdale,
good advice all around. I did search and found some great info here on sweaters and outerwear. I see that some people on here are into the commando sweater as I am. I picked up a red one one several years in the UK at a store called 'Next'. I can't tell you how many times I've been complimented on that thing. The only problem is I'm now looking to buy several for my kilts.

Saturday I snagged an awesome sweater from the Banana Republic outlet. It was like 40% of the retail price- pretty much a no brainer, LOL. Now when I'm in the store shopping I'm looking at the the item I'm interested in and judging it based on how I think it would look with the kilt...the waist, bulkiness or lack thereof, etc. I also ended up buying two microfiber suede shirts that were on sale. I wasn't planning to but they kindsa caught my eye. Something to do with the texture...as soon as I saw I knew it be a nice kilt shirt. Highly recommended.

    What kilts did I get?

I thought long and hard about it and decided that personally I'd feel more comfortable in a universal tartan. I went with the Sportkilt Garrison tartan for starters. It's gorgeous- I love it! I also got a black ninja specialty fabric kilt from Sportkilt. The other universal tartan I wanted from Stillwater isn't available 'yet' so I gotta wait it out.

Before I bought even my first kilt I was magically drawn to the Saffron standard kilt on Stillwater. That beautiful color photograph they have just messed with me. LOL. I did some research on the Saffron color, history, etc. and decided to get it. It looks even more amazing than the photo- and the quality, etc. is great.

OMG, I can already see two of us in the same color kilt at a Kilt Night! The horror! What does one do in that situation?

    Ut oh...catfight!
    *hiss*

Well Galician, since you are the elder kilt wearer and welcoming member, I concede to whatever you're wearing for the night. You just gotta name the tartan you're wearing for the evening so we can coordinate.

Besides...this just gives me another convenient excuse to purchase some more kilts.
