    That thing looks great, and I'd buy one in an instant.

    As to the weight . . . I'd like to have a lighter one. Many of the cap badges one buys are so heavy they pull the bonnet out of shape on that side. Unlike the regimantal badges (I have a collection of almost every 20th century regimental badge) which were light, the cast badges are often very heavy. If the polymer wears well, let's stick with it. If it doesn't last, surely there is a resin of some sort that will last and do the same.
