Fantastic, MacFie!
Ok, thus far we are:
Mr & Mrs Keith A.
Cirthalion & consort
Dalmore
MIKNY
Chef (the Addressor to the Haggis!)
myself
MacFie
I am wondering if, in keeping with the occasion, people might be willing to bring one of Burns' poems to share with the group. If so, please let me know.

Galician,
I think I have a neat little volume of Burns' poetry somewhere, which I will bring, and maybe some other literary goodies as well...

I'm hoping to be there for the 19th, but I might not know for sure until a day or two before. Will that be ok?

No problem, Heather. St. Andrew's has proved to be a pretty cooperative place for our gatherings. Just let me know if you wouldn't be able to join us. Otherwise polish your Burns and your thoughts on men in general.

A favour:
Could everyone let Galician know if they are attending or thinking of attending. With St. Andrews Pub it is better to give them a higher number, even if we need to cancel a few. Getting more seats that night could be difficult.
Thanks,
Chef

I've been reminded that this is usually a pretty formal event. So in keeping with that spirit, we are encouraging people to dress as formally as they feel comfortable in doing.
Have a PC? Wear it! Don't? (like me) wear what makes you look well dressed!
Just a reminder, we shall all be sharing poems by Burns, so polish up your recitals. If you need a poem, check this site robertburns.org.

I'm not sure what that is? Guess I'll have to be creative.
