I can't believe you guys - You have enough guts to wear the kilt, but you can't skin a dead animal?

With the detailed instructions that Pleater gave anybody could do it. Remember, you only need about two square feet of fur (if that)for the front of a sporran...... It isn't like you are doing a deer... although in some ways, doing a deer is easier.

And think of the satisfaction you would have when you got done.......

You have the power! You can do it!

If you do ever get this coyote sporran made, I'm thinking you should add the following pin for decoration...

LOL! That's it. It's out in our neck of the woods, or desert, too.

I love that cartoon. Like when Coyote gets the cactus on the rump and goes flying while trying to pick the spines out. LOL! That's my life.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

There is always the possibility, the probability though is generally very low. From the monthly reports I've seen from various states, the primary carriers are bats and racoons followed by foxes. Take reasonable precautions and there shouldn't be a problem. I've dealt with all those and just used normal safety precautions, more because I wanted to keep an intact hide rather than worry over rabies. That being said, I have a fox pelt salted down in the garage right now, and yes he does smell.

If you get enough of a coyote problem you make a kilt, fur side in I should think!

Very talented, generous animals (yet perhaps dumb) that you have down there and that talent extends even after they've shuffled off this mortal coil.

(I'm going to take that out because It's off topic kind of and not too nice to think about. Sorry.)
Basicly, yes, James MacMillan, I do have a weakness for some things. But, guess that's why I'd pay someone else to get the bear and deer pelts

Aw come on -Don't get in a tizzy - just pulling your leg, and trying to have fun. Me, I get weak-kneed when I see . . . . . . . . well there must be something… Let me think about it.
