As a Scot living in Scotland, I can only say what has been said a thousand times by a thousand people, there are 100,000,000 Scots Folk in the world, but there are only 5,000,000 of us in Scotland. Every one of we 100,000,000 are entitled to wear the kilt, as is everyone else who has a love of Scottish things. I am proud of each and every one of you. Alba Gu Brath...............

I appreciate that remark because there are a few Scotland Scots who don't perceive those whose ancestors immigrated to America, Canada, Australia, NZ, and wherever else...as Scots. I understand that my current life is in America, but my history is your history, etc..

Thought process randomosity
In no particular order:
My friend Die-Anna's son may be headed for Stanford, I told her he must be kilt-eqippped and be able to attend kilt/beer night on a regular basis. Her friend and co-worker Gravity Gurl responded "Road trips!"
I agree.
Redheads, with freckles (not too many mind you). My favorite is a lass from Argentina, worked in Boyle Heights (if you've been to Hell-A, you've heard about THAT fine piece of .... real estate) and she doesn't speak a word of spanish. Evelyn was her name, such a cutie if ever there was one.
I already have a Clan MacBubba card, an authorization card would be comical too: Phil authorizes the carrier of this card to have many good things under his kilt.

Ahh Boyle Heights, I have some friends from there CT
Funny, now that you mention it, I know some gents from Santa Barbara whom do Spanish Colonial living history, they are even descended from the original Spanish settlers of the days of Alta California, and yet they don't speak a lick of Spanish!!
