Our video camera needs a new battery - the present one is only useful as trebuchet fodder. I am ordering a new one through my work (interstate Batteries). When it comes in we are going to plan some video shoots.
Also one vid will be on Team Dress Code including battle dress, off-field casual and off-field more-formal. There will be kilted and non-kilted options for these. It will be a while for the dress code vids because we haven't gotten together to codify the kilted aspects and we haven't ordered kilts as a team either.
When we get a vid on "The Guantlet" I will make it available to watch online and post a link. The same goes for the Team Dress Code vid(s).
That's pretty cool, man. I'll make sure to watch a few when you get them up.

I'll be watching those vids too. Never been to a reenactment paintball event, but if I did, kilted would be the sure way to go. Good luck with your search, and welcome to the forum, from another newbie.

Thanks, I, as I'm sure those others, appreciate that.

You chaps might be amused at the little "talking to" that I and many others had at our first parade as Officer Cadets, many many years ago.It was delivered by a Sergeant instructor of the Scots Guards.I made a note of it after the parade.Anyway here it is:-"Now listen to me you benighted muckers. We're going to teach you soldiering. The world's noblest profession. When we're done with you, you'll be able to slaughter your enemies like civilized men."I was never too sure about the "civilized "bit.

Just a thought but you may want to try and see if one of the fine North American kiltmakers would be willing to sponsor you. This would get them some great exposure [excuse the pun] and may get you a break on the price of your "seabag" issue [sorry Navy term ].

Well, that is one of our team's hopes. True sponsorships (funded) in the sport of scenario paintball are rare. Most sponsorships are in the form of discounts. That is fine with us. If we find a company that provides products we believe in we are more than happy to support them.

Promptly stored away for future use - I wish you knew the name of the Sergeant.
Thanks for posting this bit of wisdom!

Time to pipe in here. There is a Canadian team - Peacekeepers that wear Black Watch on the field a copy are members on this forum. They went with SWK standard. Another opion as USAKilts are so backlogged is Canadian Casual Kilts - MacHummel on board here. I'm will be playing this year kilted in MultiCam, played last year with sporran but not kilted. The sporran was for protection but wasn't the first time I hit the dirt . I would reconsider the SWK personally, it's cheaper and you don't need to fully wash after every outing. Would also recommend sliding shorts for the benefit of your team who are covering your six.
