    Hmmm...actually the 96cm is my waist measurement of 38" (somebody posted incorrectly that 96cm = 32in. which is what threw me off), and my "breech" is 42". However, I'm only 5'9", so the kilt would probably be way too long for me....

    way too long, I'm 188 and have a 188 kilt and I "feel" its too long. Remember these are designed to be worn with Mil Jackets etc so have that extra length so there is no gap between the two.
