Use a small safety pin on to pin the plaid to the jacket. It doesn't show bcause it's under the fabric and it doesn't leave a big hoke in the jacket like a plaid brooch can.
And make sure those shoes shine like glass! Good Luck and have a great time.

Looks grand.
It seems that your kilt pin is causing the apron to wrinkle. Move it closer to the edge of the apron where there are several layers of material and that will go away.
Typically I'm no fan of white hose, but with the white fur sporran, I think those hose look fine. The outfit is well balanced top-to-bottom. If you could hike up yer kilt about another 1.5 inches it would be even better, but if that's where it wants to ride, go with it.
Good luck, and don't forget that even though you may look like a million bucks, try not to act like it.

It looks great casey. The only thing I would change would be to lose the extra long laces. Those aren't ghillie brogues, so no need to wear the laces around the leg. The would look just fine without, IMO.
Oh, and yes, shine the heck out of them while you're at it! Have fun!

Just be careful when ironing the SWK kilts as they can take on a polished shine if ironed directly. Try using a dry towel over it next time.

I have had a great time getting all the formal stuff together, and I am super thrilled to have another kilt! its my hope that before the school year is out I have a week that I am kilted every day.
I just had a kilted spring break and it was amazing!

I had the same thought. An old pillowcase makes a good press-cloth. You can dampen it slightly, as for wool---except use the acrylic temperature setting!
The SWK looks good, and the total outfit looks great. With the dark tartan, I think the white shirt/sporran/hose gives a good balance. Blue or green might also be good choices, to pick up the colors of the tartan, but you can experiment later.
Looking good, Casey!
