    Alaska?

I admit I'm used to warmer climes but isn't Alaska just a bit nippy for a kilt? Is there a line you draw mentally before going out? If snow is up to your kilt it's too cold to go out? Anything below freezing?
You guys have your own personal limits? Is there any weather you find a kilt inappropriate for?
How's a kilt hold up in the rain?
    Now you got me curious.

Cheers gang and thanks for the warm welcome.

from the concrete canyons of the Big Apple!

If you question wearing kilts below freezing, you should read the history of his posts. He wears them while BBQ'ing in below zero weather.

I have worn one in the teen's (not mine, the temperature). Keep reading here and you'll learn the tricks of the trade!

Check that out I already know something about something in here!

Don't know how many of you have done business with Mrs Kathy but she rocks. I'll have to get pictures up of the Groomsmen and I. Anyway, just wanted to share that I'd put some pieces together. Carry on!

    Welcome Chambers,

I do know Kathy Lare....all too well. My TENTH hand sewn kilt by her is headed my way in a few days. If I lived in Albuquerque I'd probably just have my paycheck direct deposited to her and email her a list of tartans to sew up.

Here's my album of the kilts she's made for me and some pics of her internal kilt craftsmanship.

And there's a pic of Kathy herself if you've been wondering what she looks like.

When the Antarctica tartan kilt arrives I'll add pics of it to the album.
